Charlene won a Bronze Award for her single-frame Marian Anderson exhibit.

Cheryl Ganz

Cheryl received the Large Vermeil Award for her single-frame exhibit, Airships over the Arctic, and the Single Frame Grand and Large Gold Award for her Zeppelin LZ-129 Hindenburg and Onboard 

Postmarks exhibit.

Dawn R. Hamman

In open competition, Dawn received the Award of Merit for Display and Gold and also the National Stamp Dealers Association Most Popular Award for her Backyard Chickens exhibit, and a Large Vermeil Award for her The Jewel City - Postcards of the Panama Pacific International Exposition, San Francisco 1915 exhibit.

Mark Thompson 

Mark received a Vermeil Award and also the American Philatelic Congress Award for his eight-frame exhibit Women of the Black Heritage Series -- All Faced Cruelty with Courage and Hope .

Don Neal with his covers

Don was a part of the cachet makers' bourse with more than 500 of his 6° Cachets covers on display and for sale.  Most of the unique covers have a "Black connection" to African-American history/culture between the cachet and the cover's stamp in six or fewer steps or degrees of separation.  The  covers are produced in limited quantities and are signed and numbered on the back of the envelope.

One evening after the stamp show, several ESPER members walked over to Jackson's Beer Garden and Smokehouse for dinner.  The group included members from Florida, Illinois, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Virginia.  A good time was had by all.
